Our charge: Reduce rapidly spiraling health care costs and, at the same time, increase the quality of patient care.
It is a significant undertaking, but Deaconess Medical Center, Providence Holy Family Hospital, Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital and Valley Hospital & Medical Center formed an organization to do just that. In 1994, service began under the name Inland Northwest Health Services (INHS).
INHS is a separate non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and delivers on our founding mission — bringing high-quality, cost-effective health care to the region through innovative and successful collaborations of health care services.
Indeed, collaboration drives everything we do; educating patients, improving access to health care, facilitating the sharing of resources among providers, developing new efficiencies through the smart use of technology and more. INHS oversees a variety of health care companies and services that work together to improve outcomes, lead the way in health care innovation and create healthier communities.
Together with partners, customers and patients, INHS is making great strides in improving the quality of health care for Spokane, the region and the nation. We are limited only by the needs of the people we serve and our own imaginations. This powerful combination clears the way for the many great accomplishments still ahead of us.
We provide unique, effective, affordable services using collaborative and innovative approaches for the benefit of the entire health care continuum.
