INHS Community Wellness is offering free skin cancer screenings, May 7-11 by appointment. May is Skin Cancer Awareness Month, and INHS is providing early detection appointments to check for spots and early symptoms of skin cancer. Skin cancer is the most prevalent type of cancer and is brought on from exposure to UV rays. If found early and treated, it is curable. These free screenings are provided to the community through a donation from Providence Health Care Foundation and donated time from physicians in Spokane.
