Information Resource Management (IRM), the health information technology (HIT) division of Inland Northwest Health Services (INHS), recently rebranded itself as Engage to better reflect the companys vision and its national presence as one of the largest MEDITECH partners in the United States.

In addition to the new identity, INHS announced IRM Chief Information Officer Fred Galusha is now the chief executive of Engage, and will be key in driving the HIT company's national brand expansion. “With the support of hospital customers, we began as a regional HIT network solutions provider over 15 years ago,” Galusha said. “Today we represent more than 100 hospital customers within the Inland Northwest and beyond.

“Were a different kind of HIT company – one that continually pushes the capabilities of MEDITECH and isnt afraid to embrace a challenge, and we needed a brand that expressed that approach,” Galusha said. “Our new name and logo illustrate our commitment to helping hospitals work smarter by providing customers complete and individualized health IT consulting, implementation and management solutions.”

The Engage name, developed by Spokanes Magner Sanborn, is being phased into all aspects of the INHS division. Engage customers and industry partners including MEDITECH, BridgeHead Software, NetApp and Hewlett Packard see the name change as a reflection of the organizations growth.

“Engage has seen rapid expansion in recent years and has positioned itself for continued progress in the national HIT field,” Galusha said. “Our regional customers have been some of the first in the country to successfully attest to Meaningful Use stages 1 and 2 and complete the Office of the National Coordinator Meaningful Use audits. At the heart of that is the different way we approach HIT. By interacting with customers and providing them with flexible and personalized solutions, challenges are met and the complexities of the hospital IT environment are more easily overcome. This name change encompasses our growing portfolio to deliver fully tested and certified MEDITECH solutions.”
