The Spokane County EMS Council has awarded Shaun Pitts with the Instructor Award for his service during 2014. This award is given to instructors who are dedicated to quality instruction and have made an outstanding contribution to EMS education.
Pitts works for Inland Northwest Health Services (INHS) Health Training as the Lead EMT and AEMT Instructor. Pitts has been an employee of INHS since 2012 and teaches EMT, AEMT, CPR, GEMS, PEPP, OTEP and PHTLS courses both online and in person.
The awards ceremony took place at the Spokane Fire Training Center Auditorium Tuesday, June 9th.
