Spokane, WA

--American Hospital Association's (AHA) Health Forum released a survey published by Hospitals & Health Networks (H&HN), awarding St. Luke's Rehabilitation Institute as a 2016 Most Wired hospital once again. St. Luke's earned the distinction of being among the most technologically-advanced hospitals in the country by using technology to build patient engagement with the individual's lifestyle in mind, which includes electronic access to their care team. This is St. Luke's 13th time receiving this national distinction.   Most Wired 2016

"Our focus on personalized care while using advanced technology has helped St. Luke's continually make the Most Wired list," said Nancy Webster, hospital administrator for St. Luke's.

St. Luke's is one of 12 hospitals awarded "Most Wired" using health information technology solutions from Engage, a division of Inland Northwest Health Services (INHS), which were measured as having growth within patient engagement and data security standards in health care.

The survey of more than 680 participants, representing more than 2,140 hospitals, examined how organizations are leveraging IT to improve performance for value-based healthcare in the areas of infrastructure, business and administrative management, quality and safety, and clinical integration.

Detailed results of the survey and study can be found in the July issue of H&HN. For a full list of winners, visit  www.hhnmag.com .
